Kingsley Tube Tremolo
OverviewThe Kingsley tube tremolo is a tube/digital hybrid design with a tap tempo footswitch. The audio path is all tube, using a single 12ax7 running at high voltage, while the digital circuit applies the tremolo waveform to the tube circuit, via an optocoupler and allows the speed of the tremolo to be controlled by a tap-tempo footswitch.
FeaturesThere are controls for volume, speed and intensity, as well as 3-way mini switches for waveform type and tap-tempo multiplication. Having a volume control means that the tremolo effect can be set as loud compared to by-pass as the user likes. The tap-tempo multiplication switch has positions for 1x, 2x and 4x speed. In this way the user can still use the tap tempo footswitch to set the speed of the tremolo, even at very high speeds
